Holden Too!!!

Yup, he's walking. He's been crawling and climbing over everything that stands in his way like a Monster Truck for months, and now he's walking. Greeaat.... He's been walking for about a week now but I haven't had a chance to blog it out. Besides, the vids are too large for Blogger's fragile video upload system so I had to put them on MySpace first. Here they are:

I finally decided I had to post all this because today Tess took 2 steps. That's the most she's done, and she fell right after, but she's been gearing up to go for a few days now. Bouncing and rocking, looking like she's trying to figure out how to make her legs work like she wants them to.

I just love this age. When they really start to learn and put things together to complete simple tasks that we probably take for granted. It's magical to me. I try to imagine things through their eyes and what it must be like to feel certain things for the first time, try a new food, figure things out.

They have really exploded with baby tricks in the last month, and are waving, pointing, saying Mama and Dada, clapping, reaching up to be picked up, giving kisses, and initiating play (for instance, Nora will bring me a blankie and flap it in the air, up and down, indicating that she wants to play peek-a-boo, and both Tess and Nora "share" whatever they are chomping on with me, putting it in my mouth and then taking turns back and forth between themselves and me). It makes me feel MUCH better because I have been really beating myself up about not doing enough with them; like all the things you have time to do when you have just one baby. Maybe now that I see that they are developing just fine, I can give myself a break and just enjoy my babies before they're all grown up. Sigh...
