So here's my beef...
About 4 months ago I started poking around online looking for Special Agent Oso toys for Holden for Christmas. This kid is in love with Oso. In LOVE. In Target around August or September I found a 3 pack of Oso figures, the 3 main characters from the show, which is what got my intrest piqued in looking for more toys. There are vehicles, which are fairly expensive, in my opinion. But I found the crown jewel: A Special Agent Oso plush doll at The Disney Store online. But it was out of stock. I called EVERYWHERE looking for this fucking thing. All the area Disney Stores; I had MoM friends searching the parks for him when they went on their family vacations; I called Walt Disney World, Disney Land, Disney Store customer service, I e-mailed the Disney Store's customer service. Just about every avenue proved to be a dead end. After a little bitching I got a real response with information from one of the Disney Store's customer service reps via e-mail (the messages are backwards; sorry, I was too lazy to turn them around for reading):
Dear Mandie,Now, you probably didn't read every little detail, but come on. My questions were concise and simple and the line of bullshit responses pissed me off from the get go. Not to mention the, "Have a MAGICAL day!" FUCKING PUKE.

Seriously??? You can't find the item [Special Agent Oso plush]?? First of all, on www.disneystore.com, it pops up in the "Top Catergories" sidebar to the right under the boys section, and a picture of the Special Agent Oso doll is the item shown for "plush."
Secondly, I sent the direct link to the specific item in my original e-mail, as well as the item number. So I'm not sure how, if you were reviewing my request in a customer service oriented manner, you could possibly not find the item. I do NOT want to waste MY time checking www.disneystore.com daily if this is an item that isn't even produced anymore. Why check if it's not available?? If it IS still a current production item, then yes, I would check daily. Which is why I posed the question in the first place. So far I have yet to get an answer.

So I kept up my end of the bargain religiously checking DisneyStore.com at least once a day. Some asshole on Amazon is selling one for $190. They're going for about the same on E-bay. What's a girl to do? I spun the toys the kids got for Christmas around Oso, and now Holden is short a present. Good thing he'll never notice, but it pisses me off this is even happening. So I start poking around for Oso on Google, to see what's out there. Amongst the first links to pop up are threads on Facebook, on The Disney Store's Fan Page. One for the US store, and one for the UK store. Wait... there's a Disney Store UK??? This changes EVERYTHING!!! Or so I thought... Dinsey continues to release Oso plushes to Disney STORES and ONLINE in the UK in small batches, but the US hasn't seen ONE. Why is this??? I demand answers!!! Well, I don't get any. Of course.
Dear Mandie,So I'm left at Disney's mercy. Maybe if they hadn't blown their load on Tangled and Toy Story 3 shit they would have been able to keep up with demand for OTHER Disney products. Maybe if they hadn't been so short sighted they would have had more available. Maybe they love England more than they love the States. I don't know. I never will. All I DO know is that The Disney Corporation is a SHELL of the empire it used to be, apearingly out for money more than magic. I think we can all agree that Michael Eisner was what did them in, but maybe there's more to the story.
