Now I'm really up shit's creek... Ugh! And Yay!! LOL
I knew Tess wouldn't be far behind on the walking gig. She's historically been exactly 2 weeks behind Nora and Holden when hitting developmental milestones. It makes sense, since she had the most trouble at and after birth, and she was the weakest. Also, she's more of a thinker, like Gwen is, so I can see that she doesn't feel the need to learn new tricks until she feels a little peer pressure from her younger siblings. But she's all caught up now...

So a couple of weeks have gone by since I posted last and along with all three of them learning to walk (and currently teaching themselves to scale the furniture and gates), they have picked up additional baby tricks at an alarming rate. I've always loved this age because they learn so fast, and you can actually see when their brain makes a connection and they figure something out that they've been working on. Everything is new and awesome and they have to learn it NOW. All 3 of them are waving, pointing, clapping, reaching to be picked up, feeling (different textures get them so excited!), and coming over to me when they fall down or need consolation or hugs. Their fine motor skills (pointing, pincer grasp, etc.) need some fine tuning, but they are coming along. Tess and Nora "feed" me whatever they're chomping on, they both dance, and Tess has even tried her voice out singing (well, let's be fair, she's not all that good). They are starting to babble more, but it's still all nonsense. They stick with Mamma and Dadda, but while they say them discriminately, it's not all that often. They are doing so many other things though so I'm not worried. Babies often concentrate on mastering one thing before moving onto another. I won't be at all surprised if they are all late talkers, learning all their gross motor skills first.
So they are all caught up and working on becoming first class trouble makers. Great. And Great!! LOL
SO cute! She's like her own pep squad!
